About Us Rosenberry - It's All in a Name
The Rose-n-berry Lake Retreat was the home of the owners' Grandparents, Howard and Maryann Rosenberry.
Our Grandparents loved to fish, boat, swim, and entertain guests. It was the request of our late Grandmother that the home be kept in the family so that many others could experience the joy and peace of lake living.
We hope you find it as welcoming as it was when Grandpa and Grandma welcomed all who came to their door!
Renovations Renovations began in 2006 and are so new that we are still snapping photos for the website.
In the Main Retreat, a brand new fully equipped kitchen was installed with an open view of the lake through the snack bar opening, across the dinning room, and up the step to the living room. French doors were added to create easy access to the beautiful new deck and lake yard.
The upstairs bath with the whirlpool jet tub was nothing but a commode and sink in a small closet. It is now the beautifully tiled sanctuary you see today.
In the Lodge Retreat, two new bedrooms and an airy tiled sitting room welcome you with French doors that open to the larger portion of the deck with steps leading directly into the yard - only a few steps to the lake. The lower level lodge has a kitchenette and comfy living area. You'll love the easily maintained tile floors - great for those treks to the bathroom with wet feet. All this with large sliding doors opening to the patio making a great shady retreat on those hot afternoons when you've had plenty of sun. Our favorite memory from the lodge room is the ever present shoreline view. We think you will enjoy it too.
